Thank you for playing the game ! I understand you frustration and I'm very sorry for the bug in the chapter 3. Did you try the 4 ? The last one is important for the story and the game experience and story. For the other point of your comment I answer all on this dev log don't hesitate to take some time to take a look at it. I gave the dev log post a read, and I see where you're coming from! Programming and making games is one of the hardest things there is to learn. Even more so when on a time limit! So you did come up with a working solution for the problem you had at hand. Big props on that!
However even though it was on purpose. I don't necessarily agree with the choice due to being added friction and taking you out of the otherwise polished experience.
