I finished the demo about an hour or so ago, and mannnn the story already got me hooked.
The characters, the artstyle, the WRITING, the CGs. This is definitely one of the best VNs I have played in a while.
I don't usually play VNs that have a chosen look for the MC, but after playing the game and reading the description that the MC is her own independent character and how you are viewing everything through her perspective, I really like how the writing went about that. It made me more interested in the MC as her own person. Especially with that Miles said to her during their argument.
The MC makes questionable decisions and "trusts too easily", but you can't really blame her since she's constantly in survival mode and Miles's always being in her space isn't helping. I can relate to her just wanting space to breathe but at the same time, girl you gotta be CAREFUL.
I also really like how from the jump, you know just how dangerous and unhinged the male love interests are, especially Miles, but they are both different types of dangerous. Miles is more emotionally unstable and loses his cool fast; he's unpredictable, violent, and has no problem crossing boundaries. While Adrien hides his emotions well; he's quieter and calculating; which makes him scarier than Miles since we don't know how he acts when he DOES lose his cool.
Even the side characters are given a little bit of depth and just by the way they speak, we know exactly what kind of character they are, especially Emily and her friends.
Overall, I really enjoyed playing and will definitely be keeping an eye out for any future updates.
