I know you can download ge-proton. What I meant about heroic is that I set it to run stock wine because that's what I use for most windows games, and I don't want to clutter my disk with different wine versions all over the place (ge-proton and variants in steam, in heroic, etc.) I use stock wine in steam and I never use ge-proton even in steam. It makes it cleaner (at least for me) to maintain wine prefix. I only have 4 wineprefixes: one for steam, one for epic games, one for old wine 6 for old games, and one for latest wine.
