Thank you for your detailed comment. I will try to answer a few questions for you.
As you guessed right, the game is in early development. And things are not completetly done. Some must be balanced and some are currently not completely finished. But I plan to fix and improve stuff with peoples experience on the game too. So this helps much.
- The fire ring is a secondary item , type magic and can be used as secondary attack. You can only train with primary items. Later you get the magic stuff , you can train your magic level with it and secondary weapons will geht stronger to from the same type.
- Brud is only a helping ally he is not fighting. Later you will get monsters to fight along your side . Then you are able to train the allies level.
- Some barrels are ment to be moved to activate switches on the ground.
- Block points are automaticly addes with strengh lvl and you need them to block with the shield. Otherwise the player lets the shield down for a while.
- Yes he max level is currently capped. Later it will be possible up to lvl 100 or more.
- I will ad more tutorial characters which will explan stuff in more detail later.
