I'm very late to Helleborine but so glad to have finally read it. It was a really emotional read in a way that I wasn't expecting. Stephanie and Hellen being horrible women (hot, interesting, alluring) who slowly revealed themselves to be horrible women (horrible) made me feel hollowed out as the mystery of the story unravelled. I was very enamored with the visuals as well. The character art is super cute and the postmortem breakdown of how each girl's design came to be was so interesting to read. The flickering effect created in the creative writing scenes evoked such a strong feeling of a hazy memory. An incredible visual novel all around.
