Hi everyone!

I've just discovered this board, although I've been posting devlogs for a few months now and you can find them on the project if you fancy back reading.

I've been working on Don't Stop Meow for about 18 months now and have an early playable demo. It's a game about basically being a cat - live in someone else's house, treat it like your own and  hustle for another dinner.

Multiplayer is planned and partly built but the demo is designed to showcase single player and how you can manipulate your owner's routine to suit your needs.

It is a game about overlapping systems and emergent consequences, meaning that in this early state you WILL see weirdness as I try to balance the systems and the owner's AI properly, but I feel it's reached the point where it is possible to have a few minutes of fun with it so here it is...

I'd love any feedback, either here or via the Discord

Thanks!

Mark

After some code-heavy bugfixing it was time for something different so I've been doing a first scene dressing pass today...

The bedroom has gone from this:

To this:

A definite improvement, although the bed still needs a decomposition and rendering pass. The living room and office have had a light authoring pass too with more planned for them for the next release. Most importantly I've brought in the filing cabinet models I built last week so that there's somewhere to stand and read the pinboard - ready to implement the story features that will be visible there.
