Just WinRAR what I always use, don't think that's the problem though windows 10 is my os btw. Okay so I found the problem, the mega version is just completely busted I tried the version from google drive and it worked which is kinda weird I also noticed that compared to the google drive version that a lot of files were actually missing maybe that's why it didn't work. So maybe it just didn't extract everything correctly which made the game break? Could be, well whatever the reason the mega version seems to be busted while the other version works.
