This is ridicilously well thought out for a first release. the effort taken to make it is really noticeable, i've only played the first bit of the game (taking my time not wanting to rush it) and holy, it won't be an exaggeration to say it can easily competes with other top contenders on this site who already made a name for itself and those who are already around for years (not naming any to avoid direct comparison, but i think you can get the idea which ones im talking about). sure theres some aspects that can be further fine tuned to make it better, but given time, im sure it'll reach that point. All in all, the game is up to a peak road ahead if the dev keep up the good work! wish it all the best.

Side Note: Please don't for the love of god pull a Deviant Anomalies on it, iykyk.

Hmmm?

I have deviant anomalies also bookmarked. But haven't gotten around to it.

What happened?

Edit. I just looked, was it that the last devlog was from jun 2022 going from v0.6 to v0.9

Until 2 days ago?

You can look up Deviant Anomalies drama and it'll show you that at one point the dev basically ran away with the patrons money and dipped, they did however make it seem like some shit happened, classic, and they also have like created a bunch of new Patreon page every now and then because it was filled with negative but justified comments to sweep it under the rug.

Edit. They're also currently "remaking" the game with an even shittier model, went from HS to DAZ which completely butchered the characters. (this part in particular though, probably because im not a fan of games with too "western-y" model, but at the same time i also saw a lot of people also dislike the changes so theres that.

Sobrino, those were some fucking amazing words. Thank you, seriously, thank you so much!

And yes, as childish as it may sound, I’m going all in with this project. However, I’ll keep repeating that development will be slow. In the comment below, I replied to another sobrino and took the opportunity to clarify a few things.

I have no reason to abandon the game unless life decides to hit me with something terrible. God willing, that won’t happen. I’ll continue working on it because I’m genuinely passionate about it, and now we’ll have to wait and see what the future brings.

I can’t wait for the day when versions 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and many more exist. In a few days, if you check the game’s website again, you’ll find short previews of future updates in the roadmap.

Once again, thank you so much! Unfortunately, I don’t know what happened to the other game, but I hope it wasn’t anything too serious.

Happy to hear that my friend. you deserve every good things coming your way, and trust me, it will. I also wish that you're blessed with health so that you can continue making your passion project prosper further without complications from the body aspect.

Also a TLDR of what i meant in the last part; The dev behind that game is everything a dev should NOT strive for.

Once again, thank you so much for your kind words. I would never become that type of person.

That’s also why the criticism I’ve received regarding this introductory release doesn’t bother me too much. I’m a very honest person who tends to talk a lot, so I wanted to make it perfectly clear that I love working on this project, but I’ll develop it at my own pace to avoid unnecessary pressure.

I’ll say it again: I don’t know how long each update will take. That’s why I always tell people that if they choose to support me financially, they should do it because they genuinely want to support the project, not because they expect a new version within two months.

I don’t want anyone to eventually accuse me of being a scammer or one of those typical developers who milks their community. With me, everything will take the time it needs, and I’ve been transparent about that from the very beginning.

At the same time, I’ve also made it clear that I truly enjoy doing this and already have thousands of ideas planned for the future.

Once again, thank you for such wonderful words. I also wish you good health and countless blessings for you and all your loved ones!
