I just finished the demo! This was super fun, I love the concept of mixing spooky mystery with cozy fishing. I really feel for the character, constantly gaslit. I also really liked the retro graphics! It added to the horror, the only thing i turned off in settings was screen jumping (it made me confused while trying to catch fish) but i didn't mind it during the woods walking portion.
The only part of the game I slightly struggled with and took a long time on was getting the debris off the bottom at the end of the demo, a lot of patiently waiting to lift my hook towards the current so i can move stuff around over and over again (things got caught on each other so it took longer than i think it should have).
overall a fun concept :) thanks for making this.
