I just wanted to say that I'm absolutely loving the game so far. I've seen that many players have already completed it, and I totally understand that the challenge is part of the experience.

However, my hardcore gaming days are kind of behind me now, and these days I'm more of a casual player. I tend to enjoy games that focus more on the story and have a more forgiving learning curve.

I'm currently having a bit of trouble with some of the precise jumps and mobility sections. I would personally love to see an optional casual difficulty mode, maybe with less punishing spikes (damage instead of death), additional checkpoints, or even an infinite lives option. That way, players like me could still enjoy the full game without changing the experience for those who enjoy the current challenge.

Just a suggestion.

I get what you are saying and for the time being would suggest focusing on getting the 2 leg upgrades, air dash and double jump. Both really make the platforming a breeze.
