Look at how other games handle this: the MC in Path of Martial Arts is the Wu Heir, the successor of a dying Great Clan, yet they still possess an otherworldly, captivating beauty befitting their noble blood, even if NickyDicky doesn't bring it up constantly. But Aura Clash is the one game that truly does the MC justice: there, the protagonist's looks and origins actively impact the universe on a grand scale. Cultivator-Anon did a great job. Furthermore, Dao Ascension really has the potential to make each race affect special power movesets, give them a unique Aura, and create unique storylines based on the MC's racial origin. And as you said, DaoImmerser seems to forget to mention the looks and aura of a Heavenly Emperor/Empress, which really deserve to be noticed much more in the story. This isn't just about a typical handsome or beautiful MC like those in a manhwa/manhua or donghua cultivator world, but a Heavenly Immortal and a Heavenly Emperor/Empress who should inherently possess an Aura of Natural Authority since birth and a face that completely surpasses even the most beautiful or handsome individuals in the mortal realm.
The main point of my comment is that in Dao Ascension, people can't see any natural aura of the sovereign from the MC, which is something that should never be hidden like a power level. Even if the MC doesn't know they are the Heavenly Emperor yet, they were born to be one. That natural presence and divine authority should inherently exist within them from birth, and other characters should instinctively notice it, regardless of the MC's age.
As you said, right now it can't be lust, but at least it can be admiration or more compliments. Characters in Dao Ascension rarely compliment the MC's appearance. The MC can't be just average-looking. Why does everyone act like the MC's looks are nothing special (like a face they see and instantly move on from)? Actually, they aren't even reacting at all. What is wrong with them. If I remember correctly, the MC has only been complimented twice: once by our aunt and Ruolan, and a second time when the senior offered us a tour if we played as a female MC. As for the rest, I don't know.
