I may be stupid but how do you exactly get the first star in Home Is where the stomach is?

The 3 possible endings are, lose and use the give up option to get the bad ending

Escape from Toriel, then enter the house again and go to the door that leads to snowdin to get the escape ending

And then escape from Toriel and going to the lower part of the ruins then eat Toriel to get the revenge ending
