I think the gameplay is great, though I agree aiming could be useful. Maybe there could also be some pointers as to how to solve certain puzzles (the steam confused me too) but I just kinda rubbed my two brain cells together and removed the plugs that were shaking. You can't just spam all the holes, and I think that was a good choice by the developers. Tbh, my best advice for you is get good or go home.
