Does anyone know how to get rid of the collar?
The collar that you start out with at the very beginning? There is no way for you to remove it if I remember correctly other than mods as it serves as the one thing that keeps you in the prison and locatable if you some how get out
there is a data pack called collar off
There is a datapack that adds a location that allows you to remove it. It's purely cosmetic and does not affect gameplay or stories, however.
