Yes, leveling techniques is incredibly tedious.

For now the most efficient method is maxing your Body for max Power (you should be about 400+ if your going for the Qi Core), target Deep Forest Boss on wander and set time to 5x speed and either set an autoclicker, or suffer clicking as fast as you can. Each kill will be as fast as possible for the most XP you can get for the TLs.

Agreed, would love a way to have techniques automatically fire, or even just gain passive XP during fights while they're equipped.
