Making this comment because some people are insufferable.

First of all, this is an early access. It's gonna have bugs. Call out bugs but don't criticize the game and say "not worth it, just play the gen 1 remake". Stop complaining about a game that is free-to-play and is all done by one person. People like to complain about things that they have no idea how it works or even how to create a game in the first place. Leave those side comments to yourself.

Second, a simple read on the page or google search to find out that the game is not coming to mobile is not hard to look up. Y'all are already on the internet. Why comment on the page and ask the question "Mobile?" when you can find your answer at the same spot you're asking at.

This is an amazing rendition to the original Pokemon Emerald and sure there are a ton of bugs, but the game itself is what Pokemon should have done with recent titles (HD-2D) and I hope to see this game completed soon.

Sure. But you can't blindly defend it either.

I would understand bugs, as I myself started my journey into creating a fan game with not a lot of experience.

But the same bugs that are carried over from the demo version (aka pre-early access version) are still present, and the bugs in question I'm referring to are very basic.

On numerous occasions does the selection disappear in battle, aka I can't move WASD, so I use mouse, then it also disappears, and I'm left with the only functioning button being enter lmao.

Or the movement-turn being delayed by a lot, making it feel clunky and unresponsive.

Honestly, I didn't even play past the rival battle after getting my starter due to those basic bugs.

As I stated, I'm referring to the comments that say "not worth it, just play gen 1 remake". Calling out bugs isn't the issue, it's the degrading comments that I'm talking about. Bugs are inevitable and yes alot of it transferred from the demo. Take the game with a grain of salt as it is still a fan-made game and nowhere near a triple A game production level.

Undertale is also a fanmade game made by one person.

What about undertale is "fanmade" ??? Undertale? being a fangame?
Also re "made by one person";  It took 32 months, and this is erasing the work that Temmie Chang put into the game too.  If you're this upset about bugs in a demo/early access then just don't play the game or expect to be putting various bug reports in. Even Pokemon games have bug patches on /full release/.

Well, it's a small minority that are the loudest.

You can't really control people's actions on what they do, and you commenting isn't magically going to fix it, morebento. Everything posted on the internet is subject to criticism whether you like it or not. That's just how the world works.

Again, whether this is a fan-made game or a triple A is irrelevant when it comes to basic move selection bugging, it should be prioritized.

Anyways, I'll check back in on the game after a while. Wish the dev good luck and keep up the work.

The problem is tagging this game as "early access" is inadequate. Look at any "early access" game on steam and youll see that they have release dates, and have little to no issues left. A game in alpha or beta on the other hand is a glimpse into what the game could be, a demo if you will. THIS is a demo, not an early access. A beta. Its misleading to call it anything other than that. Stop with the blind support because "ohhhh its by one person" or "its a wonderful game". Look at how scarlet and violet turned out, because people blindly defend slop. glad you like enjoying slop, because I sure as hell dont.

You know a google search to understand the meaning of "early access" is only a click away. Because you clearly don't understand what "early access" means. I'll help you out.

"An Early Access game is a playable, publicly available video game that is still actively being developed. Players buy or download an unfinished version—typically in an alpha or beta state—to play right away while providing feedback and funding to help creators finish the final 1.0 release."

Early access is in the alpha or beta stage. Hence "early access". You expect early access to be super polished. It's a release to get feedback about the game before it's completed to point and fix any issues. Stop your whining and don't play the game. You come on here to complain for what reason. Why not go play something else kiddo.

Calling things slop yet your comments are sloppy asl. Go ahead and create a better HD-2D game since this one is "slop" to you. I'll wait.
