It's very unique, compared to most VNs that limit choices to stupid/1-Dimensional ones. It's either be submissive to yandere or die by yandere, it never introduces smart options like outsmarting the yandere like yours--very refreshing. Like, watchu mean I can't try pretending to drink or eat the food he makes/offers? Watchu mean I can't try to use his landline? I'VE PLAYED THIS THREE TIMES, NOW.
