Ohhh, I see, well I understand and thank you for responding anyways! Apple is infamous for being annoying for gaming anyways so I expected it..

Yeah the big thing I’ve seen is mostly that due to Apple’s restrictions even other browsers on iOS have to be based on WebKit, so even Firefox and Chrome on iOS are basically the same under the hood, with the only benefits being syncing bookmarks and stuff with your google account, things like that.

However I guess there’s some shifts in that recently, I read something saying that I guess due to antitrust stuff Apple is lifting that restriction and soon Chrome and Firefox will be able to have their own rendering engines on iOS, but no clue if that’s actually shipped, this was only a couple years ago, but tech moves fast so maybe?

You could try that though, try like Chrome or Firefox and see if those work? The other issue is that to do saves, web needs to be able to write to the browser’s “local storage” which can be an issue for persistence, for example if you use a browser that clears the cache/local storage on close, that may be why the saves don’t persist.

Anyway hopefully that helps, again it may work later once we’ve moved engines, but not a guarantee. We might look into alternative app stores once those start being a thing on iOS again due to antitrust but I also haven’t looked into that at all lol
