So sorry about that. This is not a bug we have encounter before. What platform are you playing on? Could you describe when it did happen in the game, the last time it happened? The more info I get, the faster I can fix the bug.
We haven't enabled the save system in the demo yet, but I can see how frustrating it can be in your case...
