Does it linger for more than 2 minutes? It is supposed to be black for about a minute while some sound plays. I'm wondering if something went screwy with the .wav file :/
EDIT: I had a couple friends test it and they couldn't replicate the issue you were running into. Do you have a specific setup that might cause oddities? One friend wondered if it was an error from running the game in Wine or Steam Proton on Linux rather than running the game natively on Windows. Any additional info and/or video would be great to help solve it!
