My theory till now is that when the protagonist tucker got displaced he was out of time it self when the core was created by who knows who and tucker accidentally took a part of the core in him thats why the mascot wants it back we are all pretty sure the core and the mascot is the same thing but this just a really far fetched theory because the world and story is so wild is the best i can think of honestly
