I am only able to play mobile and web games so I can't play (yet hopefully), but since this originally targeted flash, which is dead, there is actually ruffle: https://ruffle.rs/ and this would let you emulate flash and put swf on the web so that it doesn't require desktop install, and anyone that has a browser can play it (even mobile). It's like around 90%+ compatibility, probably one of the things that might not work immediately out of the box is networking. If it's over HTTP then it's basically free, but otherwise a small adapter to translate HTTP calls to whatever the server accepts, or making the server accept HTTP calls would work.
It could potentially be little or a lot of work, but it might be worth it to reach a wider audience.
Thanks for your consideration!
