I love the game and now im sad. Its saddening that genAI bs has truly hurt real artists like livingslime everywhere in many way.
Its deeply frustrating and upsetting these things was happening to you, and its even more unbelievable that there are people ignorant and cruel enough to make baseless accusations and harassment over what is now clearly just their misinformed selves. And now everyone who enjoys the game has to pay the price along with the dev, slime, who i can only imagine feel absolutely burnt out from fighting back and disproving these accusations.
I for one never clocked the art as AI at any capacity. The art is beautiful and well made and it shows how much love and care you have for the game. In the twitter thread, when u said u were inspired by Metaphor, it made so much sense because the art is reminiscent of polished AA games' sprites like something out of the Persona series or Ace Attorney and i was immediately captivated.
If you ever find it in you to work on Where Eternity Sleeps again, as you have worked on it and poured love and time and effort into the demo, i hope you know that many people would look forward to it <3
