Really like the gamelpay idea of using the snooze Z as a platform to jump from. Also like the cute slime :)
I personally feel like the gameplay loop is not perfectly paced. I think it would be more fun to have either more time from the beginning or have the level change a bit each time.
However, I think you nailed the thematic approach as well as an innovative and fun game mechanic.
