A horse-betting game is a really unique idea to put in the Pride Jam! There's a lot of different elements involved to make it an interesting resource management scenario. Between that and the... interactions during the race, it was quite a lot of fun to figure out! The music is really fun all around, and it's pleasant to listen to both during the pre-race time and the races proper.
I also enjoyed the various bits of writing (including smaller pieces such as horse details, jobs, and so on). The references to the many other jam games were cool to see! It makes for a fun extra detail in the "News" area, and it's a great way to share the love of the jam. ^.^
The visuals had a lot of handmade charm, and the custom character designs add a lot! (The tutorial fairy is a community favorite - and mine as well, hehe.) I can tell that the artists also had a lot of fun with the scenes, horses, and everything else - especially given the gallery feature after clearing the game. I always enjoy seeing things like this.
Overall, this was an amazing experience! I can tell that the devs did a lot of incredible work all around!
