I will start by saying I am not a fan of minecraft at all and this at first felt very minecraft like but as I played it I actually really enjoyed it. Some thoughts having pretty much beaten the game (last floor reached in 1 rebirth):
1. The initial start is so slow and hunting for rarer nodes than stone can be annoying at first.
2. The game loop is nice, upgrade a pickaxe, get a new floor but eventually it spirals out of control. I think if I had enough patience I could have beaten the game without any rebirths.
3. The grenade is ridiculously Op to the point it did like 99% of my mining at the end. I chucked a grenade, mine a bit and wait for cooldown then chucked another when cooldown is finished. With the rebirth upgrade maxed this reaches like 5-6 seconds cooldown which is utterly OP.
4 The pickaxe sprite remains the same regardless of the level, would love to see some sprites for the different pickaxes.
5. I love the fact that you have a choice to either level the pickaxe with gold vs ore. I basically sold my ore all the time and just bought next level of pick axes.
6. An auto seller would be a nice machine to have so you won't have to teleport back to town as much but honestly not really super necessary. At the end I was clearing floors so fast I had to teleport to town almost every 20-30 seconds.
Overall the game was fun and I liked it, I wished I had more I could do but definitely a nice small time sink. Definitely interested in more gameplay.
