Interesting concept, a little confusing. I got rotate and paint, I didn't really understand how they helped. For paint I thought it would paint the cells or the redacted ones but it didn't work. Rotate just seemed to offset letters i think? I also managed to scramble the whole page with rotate lol. I really like the narrative in this game I thought it was really interesting. For the flow of the game I think it could use a little more guidance, rather than making sure to open every text it could be like searching for some sort of information in a specific one to progress or discover some other text or unlock a locked text.

The white squares popping up constantly made it a little difficult for me to read especially at the beginning. I think it would be nicer if they just appeared/randomized at once when more text pops up?

Overall great job! The narrative was great and I love the idea of the grid deteriorating.

Yes, I’ve been working on adding more hints to the game in the next version. What you’re playing now is already the second version of the game—just imagine how confusing the first one was.

If you’re interested, I can explain in a comment what Paint and Rotate are for, but that would be a small spoiler.

(Little hint - there is hints in this game in mem dir %) )
