i do like how we basically match with chao's freak in ending 4 by taking it upon ourselves to investigate what happened to Jane.

I also love how the characters are written, made us care about the MC, Owen and Jane, Chao himself, etc! Chao is one of the more unique characterization of a yandere because he has no desire to hurt someone out of malice like just because we are friends with them he can still be jealous though which is part of that trope, unless they threaten to get in the way selfish desires (us), or threaten to hurt him in any way. He was willing to let Owen live despite knowing that he killed his mom. Though, I understand why Owen insisted on reporting because to be fair even though he got a harsh upbringing, and what she does for a living he still loves his mom that got killed... at least thats my perspective on why he still wanted to report. A lot of times children, or adults who grew up with abusive parents will still love their parents but they wouldn't forgive them, still desire parental love, or rather not to be around them. I also love how the guilt of being the reason Owen is dead is still presented in MC because it shows how we too aren't heartless, we just were curious and the situation went so poorly... Like the guilt can be how we shouldn't have gotten Owen involved in ending 3, we ended up losing a childhood friend because of that. OVERALL i think this game is very good at the characterizations. I honestly never played a VN where the MC (us) ACTUALLY matches the yandere LI freak, very unique.

I HAVE AN HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION! If Jane never planned to hurt us, or Chao... would we have never got to met Chao himself, or would Chao have figured out a way to get to see us and talk to us?
