Hi!

I had to create an account to ask for some help. I was noticing in the menu (both start and settings) didn't let me move up or left. I thought it was just a menu issue and thought nothing of it. When I got finished talking with Ellen, the game started auto moving me and I instinctively moved left to well.. move left and the game trapped me next to the dirty drawer and the locked door. I thought maybe it was a glitch, reloaded my save and.. nothing. Redownloaded the game with the same issues.

I have only had one RPG Maker game from Itchio do this before and I haven't seen any comments mentioning anything. Super bummed I can't play it until I figure out how to fix it, but the game looks great! Can't wait to get to actually play it lol

That sounds pretty weird, did you make sure to turn off Unikey or any external software that can affect your keyboard? Does this happen to any other RPG Maker games that you played before?

I'm SO SORRY I did not see this comment until I checked my email..oops..

I'm not sure what Unikey is (I don't seem to have it if it's an app you're referring to) and I don't have any other software that is like keybinding or whatever could be causing it. The only other game it's done it on was another RPG Maker game called "Confess My Love" over on steam and I didn't see anyone else having problems. Other than that, nothing else has caused this.

Can I ask you what operating system do you play the game on? Do you play it on Windows or Mac?

Does this glitch happen right after you finished talking to Ellen at the beginning of the game? Is your keyboard like a standard QWERTY keyboard setting?
