Hello there, I hope you're doing well! Perfect Pitch is an outstanding game, and I would like to thank and congratulate you for your efforts. Creating and successfully releasing a visual novel is no easy feat, especially for (what I assume to be) a solo dev, and even moreso for a game with this level of visual flair. I've never seen another VN use animations and cutscenes like this, and as someone who's been working on their own VN for a while and has been planning on utilizing cutscenes, this game has given me a lot to think about in terms of designing and implementing them. It also brought back a lot of fond music-related memories for me, including stuff from my marching band years.
There are a couple things I'm curious about:
1. Since this game clearly takes a ton of inspiration from Lessons in Love, and there's a screen at the start that mentions "careful listening" being required to progress, does this mean future updates will include puzzles?
2. Besides Lessons in Love, are there any other VNs you've used as inspiration for your game?
3. This one might be a bit personal, so I totally understand if you're unwilling to answer it. I believe you've mentioned having taught music in the past, and considering the way academic research is presented in this game, I've been wondering: are you (or have been) a university professor?
