I believe you need to have at least 2 Qi, then wait a bit for it to trigger it
You are just on the ball TwinPeaks.
There is a countdown for it but actions affect its coming. Some do nothing to affect it some draw it quicker. Right now its a minimal mechanic but later on there are bigger plans for it.
