That's kinda all there is to it;
1. I pause the game, whether in Glitch City or in a match (the main menu works too)
2. I select settings
3. The screen goes black after a couple seconds without backing out of the settings menu
The only way I've found to restore the screen is by hitting the Windows key and hovering over the minimized preview, then selecting 'Go Back' in the game, but it will quickly black out again if I don't back out of the settings menu after reselecting the game window.
Other than the screen blacking out, the game works as it should.
