You say at first you gave up and only after thinking about it you came back. I struggle alot with that problem, many games I make have that issue. Its because I try to tell the player almost nothing so figuring it out feels rewarding but I seem to over do it sometimes. Thanks to your feedback I now know how much to tell the player.
