The Maw is available in the demo - you can find it from a planet Pearl that you have to find yourself - so go do some space exploration (there will be some additional missions also)! The next version will have keybindings, but good point about younger players - they might like to have arrows working right away.
Yes, the plan is to make this full steam game, but I think there will be much more for this itch version also!
Multiplayer mode is interesting idea, maybe that could work as an old school split screen action! Big inspiration for this game has been old "cave flying games" from 90s, like Auts and Wings. They were all about multiplayer stuff!
I am currently working on second galaxy, so the game is expanding.
