So you're essentially cutting out jobs and opportunities from artists and coders because AI is easier for you to direct? That's what I meant by when I said it has a lack of respect.
If you want to be a game director or manager then there is nothing wrong with that. Just pitch your idea to a studio or start working for a game company. Or use free asset packs if you're going indie. Hell there's probably people who would make art for you FOR FREE just as a chance for some exposure. Same with music. Same with illustrators. Maybe even coders too. But if you want to make an indie game and be in control of every asset of production I think you should either find people you can trust to handle those aspects, or you should become more skilled and experienced with them yourself.
I suppose there's nothing wrong with using AI to speed up things that humans can already do, like format your emails or make graphs or whatever. Handling organization and such. But I am a firm believer that it should be kept out of the creative and artistic world. Making a game shouldn't be like manufacturing a good. A game is an experience meant to be enjoyed for other humans. It's like sports. You wouldn't go to a football game and watch a bunch of robots playing it.
My bottom line, or sort of TLDR is: So what if the game isn't perfect? So what if it isn't easy? So what if it never succeeds, because they barely ever do. We do what we do because we genuinely wouldn't rather do anything else.
EDIT HERE: I know I come off very strongly with my beliefs here. But that's just who I am. I'm not saying you're a bad person or anything. And I think harassing people who support AI is pathetic and I mean you no disrespect in this message. Just exchanging my opinion and hoping for you to understand it.
