kudos for how committed u were to weaving sadistic love with medical content. was a thread i was too meek to pursue this indulgently. pardon that narrowness of my praise, but I'm obsessed with the texture of both the BGs and CGs. I'm not sure what filters Astra used to transform assumedly stock photos into stills straight out of my dreams, but I love it. Also adore your art on how (correct me if I'm wrong) it seems to be a fusion of physical and digital art techniques? Are they edited scans, and if not, how did you get such fantastic digital brushes?
Thank you so much!! I actually got so into writing the surgery scene that at one point I guess I viewed a medical chart website too much and they IP banned me… and yes I don’t know what kind of magic Astra used on them but they’re fantastic!!
Also, yaaay yes!!! It’s all gouache! The sprites and CGs are all painted on cold press paper and then lined with colored pencil. Then I scan them and throw them into clip studio to make em transparent and mess with the colors a little. I’m so happy when people ask me about this stuff because it’s my absolute favorite part 💖💖💖
