It used to be coin only, but idk when, since I haven't played this game since what version that I don't remember, it used to be coin only after each night session with her.
Working at the convenience store at night is a better alternative for getting actual currency.A single shift gives you around 25000 credits (not Peepcoins) you can spend in the regular store.
