Why use AI for the background instead of just game screenshots?

It's not AI. I have the sketch and everything ☹️

I paid for the art using Patreon money and watched the artist making it. I swear on my life it's legit!

I also have a good ammount of screenshots from the WIP stages, which I will not flood this comment with but I'll share one of them.

This is no screenshot, it's a photo of the artist's tablet.

Sorry for the extensive reply, I'll always take a stand and defend myself against AI allegations, I have no place for slop here.

But I undertand the worry, you can never be too safe nowadays right?

I see. Sorry for the accusation before asking, the artist didn't share anything of the art, so it's hard to really know.
