Really interesting style. I wonder how you implemented the video of yourself in Godot, it looked soo good even when the camera flew past you.

How is the saving of the reward for the final Game supposed to work?

I had one Game Breaking Bug on Linux. The first time I came to the monitor puzzle and solved it, the game just wouldn't continue. I had to restart the game and then it worked without a problem. I had to restart several times after that and it just happened that one first time so idk.
As already mentioned by some comments on the Game Jam page, the performance is, while not terrible, definitely worth looking into. I had pretty long loading screens and PC got pretty loud while running the game. (Specs: RTX 3070ti, 32gb RAM, i5-10400, saved on M.2 SSD)

Great Game : D I am excited to see your future Work and always love to see when a new Devlog drops on YT.

Thanks for reporting those issues! I’ll definitely have to look into it.

Funnily enough, I have a similar GPU and the same amount of RAM. CPU Ryzen 5600x. I’ll see about playing on Linux. I believe the Godot Node for rendering is CPU-bound, so I do wonder if I need to look into how to use it properly! I’m also aware that some optimisation was thrown to the wind during the final hours of the jam, and since I’ve actually sorted some of these issues out for my main game but need to replicate it here. It’s extremely useful that they’re being called out here.

I just save a little json file in AppData or the equivalent for Linux under the folder MBF-SideQuests.

Again, thanks for playing and reporting issues! Glad you enjoy the videos :D
