rich, textural, immersive writing, perfectly complemented by atmospheric sound. the UI is so unique, and yet, i can't imagine this story presented any other way.
there is so much craft packed into every ounce of your games, but your writing here especially just ripples off the page. i felt the waves of heat and stink and dust. and not a word is wasted! i don't often enjoy repetition in prose, but here it's deployed with such skill and intent; every time Robin repeats herself, it's revealing something meaningful.
like other commenters i found the sequence with robin on the beach to be especially painful. the all-consuming anger, the futility and embarrassment of that anger feeding back into the anger... too real. delicious. i will be returning to this one
