All good, I reinstalled the game and ported my save over :3
I looked into the fonts folder and saw that there is only mplus and Gothikka files.
So the Options menu's font selector in plugins.js (VisuMZ_1_OptionsCore's FontFaces list) has a bunch of system font names, but only two fonts are bundled (mplus, Gothikka). So Selecting any unbundled font (Arial) makes all text disappear instead of falling back to a working font.
Just me looking at it to see if its Linux only or not since Windows ships with Arial by default I guess you can say its gonna happen on every OS that doesnt have the font installed already.
