Confused about proficiency bonus:

Proficiencies have four possible ranks, with varying effects:
• Untrained (+0): You add half of your Level (rounded down) as a modifier to your
roll.
• Trained (+2): You add your Level as a modifier to your roll.
• Expert (+4):You add your Level as a modifier to your roll.
• Master (+6): You add your Level as a modifier to your roll.

Do you add your character Level plus the +2/+4/+6 ?

Or the +2/+4/+6 means something else?

Yeah you read it right. Basically, your proficiency bonus consists of two elements: your rank and your (character) level, which you add together. However, if your Rank in a proficiency is 0, you only add half of your level, instead of your full level. +2/+4/+6 are the bonuses for Trained/Expert/Master ranks, respectively, this is a reflection of how the proficiency system works in Pathfinder 2e.
