played on a friend's recommendation and loved it. i thought this story was going to end, like, three different times, and each time, something strange and new and wonderful happened instead. so much emotion and interesting thoughts packed into 8k words. and then the reveal at the conclusion... ah... my heart hurts. marvelous!
echoing what everyone else has said here - the presentation and character design are superb, they capture the aesthetic you were aiming for perfectly. in particular, displaying both characters' dialogue at the same time was an excellent choice.
