This was a visually lush game with a very earnest narrative. I had trouble with the second photo for quite a while, though, and I'm really not sure you needed the picture taking minigame - the ever-looming countdown to grandma's operation haunted the game and was more than sufficient, I think. But wow, man, the final conversation between the two characters was a very deft way to cap off the story. Now, why is someone chopping onions next to me?
