I’m enjoying this, and the presentation is very clean and well thought out.

I just unlocked chapter 3 and will have to continue later, but a couple of thoughts on experience so far (sorry if some of this repeats other comments, wrote it without reading others):

  • As with most games like this, i quickly found myself wishing I had at least a rudimentary copy/paste to clone/move/rotate an arrangement of pipes/machines.

  • When preparing setups before connecting colors, I sometimes had issues with pipes connecting too eagerly, realized I’d need to pump colors in to set them up side-by-side. It’d be nice if there wwas a modifier key I could hold to draw pipes without them connecting to anything except the tiles you’re dragging your cursor to/from, if that makes sense?

  • For figuring out ratios needed to achieve certain colors, I find decimal RGB values easier to wrap my head around than hex. “0,128,256” is much easier for me to work out than “0080FF”.

  • There’s some oddities (bugs?) with the color notebook… it’s unclear if the specific hex value is important for deliveries, or if it just needs a matching name, but I see my notebook records even accidental “failed” color mixes I’ve run into (I think?). I also see that for some reason, some colors show hex values that I’ve definitely never generated them with, or with hex values that don’t match? It gets a bit confusing, and when I check various colors with a screen color picker, the hex values the game claims often don’t match what’s being rendered? A bit hard to explain, here’s short video showing: imgur link.

Thanks for the great feedback! I’m glad you’re enjoying the game. ❤️ I’ll definitely keep your suggestions in mind for future updates.

The notebook issue is actually more of a UI/UX misunderstanding on my side than a bug, so thanks for the video—it really helped. I’ll make it much clearer in the next update!
