Thanks for the demo! The character and environment art is lovely, and the gameplay, placing your characters on the board and moving them, activating their special skills, waiting on cooldowns, is very cool! It's a unique and pleasant aesthetic. Really lovely.

I am writing because I do freelance game audio. Bastion Heart is a beautiful game. Is the audio that is in it final, or is it placeholder? I would love to contribute on the audio half if that is something you are thinking about. I do music, sound design, and implementation. In my opinion, shaping the audio toward the Unicorn Overlord aesthetic could fit really nicely. Just an idea.

Either way, keep up the great work! I can tell this is a game that people will enjoy. Congrats!
Kind Regards,

Hi Ryan, thanks for reaching out with the comment.

I'm glad you enjoyed the demo. Also thank you for the kind words, it's been a long ~8months to get the game to this point.

I'm using a lot of placeholder audio due to budget constraints. However, I do have a composer(listed in credits) who will help me create final sounds and music tracks when/if the game gets to that point.

Regardless, thank you for reaching out and for the kind words. I hope you can find some good indies to work with to pursue your passion.

Aw, that's very kind of you. My apologies, I didn't see that you already have a composer in your credits. I'm not trying to dislodge anyone.

I'm actually working on a very cool game right now, the third expansion for Interstellar Space: Genesis. I'm trying, however, to get better at reaching out to people before finishing a project instead of waiting until after lol. I can honestly say though that out of every game I found today to introduce myself, yours was hands down my favorite! You're going to do great 😊

Anyway, feel free to reach out anytime regardless. I love making friends in this industry.

Take care!

Ryan

No worries at all Ryan!

Best of luck on your current project, may it find success and may you continue to have work.

I will keep you in mind moving forward if anyone is looking for someone to help with game audio. I will be sure to recommend you, since you conduct yourself very professionally.
