So what are you working on now?

Why not update us on what you are working on now in the game?

Fill in the space between updates.

There is a lot of stuff that I am working on that I don't even know where to start as this next update is enormous.

Firstly, I am currently trying to move the project over to Unity DOTS and optimizing how things are coded into the game to be more modular. This would help mods and myself add and debug stuff extremely easily, this would give a large performance boost in runtime performance and world load times, also allows for high performance multiplayer, and allows me to refactor my code so when I make the code public, people can understand it easily.

Secondly, I am adding all of the new biomes, dimensions, monsters, bosses, towers, etc... and they are currently in the process of being drawn and I am also talking about the looks and certain mechanics of the new things with friends to get a better game play feel.

Thirdly, trying to debug multiplayer to give it a polished feel and make it easy to use for instance hosting a server, world building, commands, etc...

Fourthly, I am also working on getting my own server running so the community can come join my world, build factories on it, and we can discuss more things that should be added or changed.

Fifthly, a couple days after the 1.48 update, I fixed all bugs people found in that version.

Most of these things are all happening at the same time as I like to swap from one to another as I see fit. This is actually just a small portion of the stuff I am working on and I'll talk about more of it when I get farther in the update as I am still learning the best approach to the things being added that might not even make it into the next update.

Thanks for the inquiry!
