This was a nice surprise to see! Being in control of a strong trainer is a nice twist and as a fan of Iris it's even better, I think you did a good job capturing her spunky and slightly bratty personality. I enjoyed the mystery and am looking forward to seeing more. Only problems I have with it so far are the music not looping properly and the game lagging when too many models are on screen which other people have already mentioned. I do find it weird that if you go to the Ruins first and find out what's going on, Iris still seems clueless as to how she go there when you go to other locations to find info like the police station or initially talking to Olivia. Also it's been a bit since I played Sun, but I remember Gladion chilling out and dropping the edgy facade at the end of the game, though I guess he'd still be acting like that because he doesn't know Iris. Regardless cool start, I really enjoyed your previous works and am looking forward to more

Thanks for the feedback! I don't recall Gladion changing his temperament/personality at the end of Sun/Moon, but if he did, that's probably to the detriment of his character. My take on him is a little more mellowed out and self-aware than during the bulk of Gen 7's story, but he's still an edgelord.
Iris shouldn't seem completely clueless after visiting the Tapus, so I probably need to rewrite some dialog. Thanks for the tip!
Music loops and lag should be fixed with the next release. Stay tuned.
