Thank you for playing! Yeah, the difficulty definitely ramps up at “Eye of the Needle”. I understand the issue you were having with turning feeling unresponsive. A lot of snake games will kind of jump you ahead to the next row/column when you turn so that your input activates immediately. We couldn’t do that because of all the timing-dependent elements, so instead we buffer some inputs so that we don’t fully drop your input, but it often gets applied a little after you press it. I imagine we could get it dialed in to feel a bit better, but it was tricky to get perfect, especially within the jam time limit.
