It feels like the mouse is simply not working or has been disabled in the application itself. I can walk around using WASD, but I can't turn my head. The cursor simply disappears on the game screen (in focus) and reappears behind it. I have tried both windowed and full-screen modes. And there is no camera movement

Thanks for the reply! We’ve tried to fix the issue; feel free to give the new version a try. I can share a Drive link though, of course, for the purposes of the Jam, you should only evaluate the version that was actually submitted.
